Taking A Stand Against Domestic Violence

The Take Back The Night rally at CSUN was a mixture of emotions for everyone involved. It was full of prideful women who were taking a stand against the violence against women. They did not want to be victims anymore. Seeing fellow CSUN girls talking about their experience in being raped was really scary. Just to imagine that some of the people who raped them were members of their own family I just immediately thought of my nieces and the fact that they too can be victimized. I applaud all of those who have taken what they have experienced and in turn have made it into an experience that everyone can learn from.
