Brief Biography
My name is Marlene Salinas and I am currently a junior at California State University, Northridge majoring in journalism with a minor in Spanish language journalism. I love doing research for a story and enjoy the challenge of on the scene reporting. Although I am still young - 20 to be exact- I feel that I have a lot to offer to both the journalism community and to the Latino community. I am a strong Mexican American woman and my family and friends have always characterized me as outgoing and persistent.
